Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans for 4-year-olds that align with program goals and curriculum.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all areas of child development.
  • Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language growth through intentional teaching practices.
  • Manage classroom routines and dynamics effectively while promoting positive behavior and independence.
  • Observe, monitor, and assess children’s progress to ensure individualized learning needs are met.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through play.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous classroom teaching experience required, preferably in a preschool setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
